RESOLUTION NO. qj~-7 7
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Jefferson County,
Washington, received a request for an emergency appropriation from the
County Assessor due to his current budgeted amount of CETA funds being in-
sufficient to pay necessary expenses; and
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board that an emergency exists as
could not have been foreseen or contemplated at the time of making the
budg:et for 1977 and the sum of $5,530.00 is necessary to meet such emer-
gency and is for the best interests of'Jefferson 'County that the appro-
priation be made;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that an eme~gency is hereby declared,
that an appropriation of $5,530.00 be made for the Assessor's Office to be
used for Salaries.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a public hearing be held on said
emergency appropriation and that said hearing be held in the County Commis-
sioners Chamber of Jefferson County on the 9th day of May, 1977, at the hour
of 11:00a.m., and that notice of said hearing be published in the official
newspaper of Jefferson County and that, at said hearing any interested
taxpayer may appear and be heard for or against the appropriation for such
alleged emergency.
