RESOWl'ION ro ..30 - 77
WHERE'.AS, the proliferation and accumulation of litter discarded throughout
this county constitutes a hazard to the health and safety of the citizens
of this county, and,
WHEREAS, the Model Litter Control Act, ROW 70.93.060 (Laws of 1971, First
Extraordinary Session, Chapter 307), prohibits the disposing of litter
or trash upon any public property in the state except into litter recepticals
or at sites so designated for that purpose,
N::M, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the following locations are the
designated sites in Jefferscn County for the disposal of trash:
(1) PORT 'I~Smn SANITARY IANDFILL. A portion of See. 8, township
30 N., Range lW W.M. (On Miller Rd., 1 mile 5W of City IJ.mits.)
(2) QUIICENE DroP OOX STATION. A portion of Sec. 23, township 27 ..N.,
Range 2W W.M. (On State Highway 101, one-half mile west of Quilcene.)
(3) CLE:ARWATER DroP OOX STATION. A portion of Sec. 30, township 24,
Range 12W W.M. (en the Clearwater Road, one and one-half miles IDrth of Hwy 101.)
(4) HADLCCK DROP OOX STATION. A portion of Sec. 11, township 29 N,
Range lW W.M. (On county road No. 18 between Chimacum and Hadlock.)
(5) BRINNON DroP OOX STATION. A portion of See. 17, township 25N,
Range 2W W.M. (On the Duckabush Road, one mile west of Hwy. 101.)
(6) COYLE DROP OOX STATION. A portion of Sec. 33, township 26 N,
Range lW W.M. (On the Coyle Road at the Hazel Point Road intersection.)
