WHEREAS, it appears that certain soil and/or geologic conditions exist

on portions of those lots within the Kil1apie Beach Plat which may require
special corrlstruction features to protect structures or other projects erected
thereon, and
WHEREAS, because of the uncertainty concerning soil and/or geologic
conditions of the lots located in Killapie Beach Plat, the Board of County
Cannissioners deems it advisable to have the report of a soils engineer and/or
geologist for consideration at the tirrE any building pennit application is
reviewed; Now, Therefore,
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that prior to issuance of any building permit
for any structure or other project located within Killapie Beach Plat, as
recorded in Volume 5 of Plats, page 22 and 23, Records of Jefferson County,
Washington, Auditor's File No. 195990, the applicant for any such building permit
shall provide Jefferson County with the report of a licensed civil engineer
knowledgeable in the practice of soils engineering or of a geologist. The
said report shall specify any requirerrents to provide assurance of soil stability
for the proposed project.
