RESOLUTION NO. ~/
INTENT TO VACATE
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of
County Commissioners that it is not in the public interest to continue
to maintain as a part of the County Road System:
That portion of Commercial Avenue; lying
between Blocks 31 and 32, 47 and 48, 51 and
52; 7th and 8th streets; and the Alleys lying
within Blocks 31, 32, 47, 48, 51 and 52 of the
Plat of Junction City as recorded in Volume 2
Plats, page 10~ records of Jefferson County,
Washington; also Blocks 31, 32, 47, 48, 51 and 52;
and in contemplation of the language of the statute RCW 36.87.010, the
same is useless, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does now
declare its intention to vacate and abandon said road, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby directed
to examine said road and report his opinion as to whether this county
road should be vacated and abandoned; whether it will be advisable to
preserve said road for the County Road System in the future; whether the
public will be benefited by the proposed abandonment, and all other facts,
matters and things which will be of importance to the Board, and that such
