RESOLUTION NO. '/~ -77
A RESOLUTION providing for a budget extension for the current expense
fund and declaring an emergency to meet the same.
WHEREAS, legislative action under HB 1306, Chapter ___, Laws
of 1977, First Extraordinary Session, entitled the Judges of the Superior
Court an increase in salary, effective July 1, 1977; and
WHEREAS, the amounts necessary to provide said expenses was
not anticipated at the time of the preparation of the Current Expense
Budget for 1977; and
WHEREAS, this is a mandatory expenditure required by law and
thus constitutes a non-debatable emergency within the provisions of
RCW 36.40.180;
THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners, Jefferson County, Washington, that the aforementioned
facts constitute an emergency, and that the following amounts be appro-
priated as follows:
SUPERIOR COURT NO. 1
512.10 Personal Services:

SUPERIOR COURT NO. 2

and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the county auditor be and she

JUDICIAL SALARY INCREASES, EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1977

As the result of passage of HB 1306, Chap. , Laws of 1977,
1st Ex. Sess., judges in the state of Washington are entitled to
pay raises effective July 1, 1977 as follows.

will be entitled to receive $156 with $78 being the county share.
