RESOLUTION NO. 7;).-77
ORDER OF VACATION
This matter coming to be heard this day upon the County Road Engineer's
report with respect to the vacation set forth in "Petition for Vacation
of the County Road" submitted by Allen W. Shaw, and it appearing to the
Board of County Commissioners that notice of hearing has been posted and
published for the time and in the manner provided by law, proof of such
posting and publication being now on file herein, and said Board having
the other evidence adduced, and being fully advised in the premises does
now find and determine that the public will be benefited by the vacation
thereof:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDERED THAT:
A portion of Alder between Blocks 7 and 8 from
Fitchburg to Stevens in the Plat of Garfi,elds
Addition to Harrisburg, a distance of 270 feet.
Also Lots 13 and 14 of Block 8, the west 100
feet of Lot 15 and all of Lot l6 of Block 7,
all in Garfields Addition to Harrisburg,
be and the same are hereby vacated and abandoned; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said petition is exempt from com-
pensation requirements specified under Ordinance No. 2-76 except for
the costs of publication for hearing'and recording.
