RESOLUTION No.9~-77
1977 Budget Extension
Jefferson County Fair
WHEREAS, it has been requested by the Jefferson County Fair
Board for a 1977 budget extension in the amount of $21,000.00 to
cover costs incurred by the expansion of their building program and
activities; and
WHEREAS, these programs were extended due to additional monies
received, but not anticipated at the time of preparing the budget
for 1977; and
WHEREAS, it appears to this Board of Commissioners that a
situation exists as could not have been foreseen or contemplated
at the time of making the budget for 1977 and the sum of $21,000.00
is necessary to meet such emergency and is for the best interests
of Jefferson County that the appropriation be mad~;
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that an emergency is hereby declared,
and that the appropriations of $21,000.00 be made for the Jefferson
County Fair to be used for the expansion of said programs.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED, this ~day of December, 1977.
