RESOLUTION NO. ~1-77
Reference Jefferson County Resolution No. B-208, dated July 2,
1946 establishing Olympic Health District.
WHEREAS, Jefferson County is desirous of dissolution of the exist-
ing health district and intends on establishing health agencies within its
respective legal jurisdiction effective the date of dissolution. Jefferson
County waives the six-month provision as per RCW 70.47.090 pertaining to
withdrawal.
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has made provisions to deliver health
services meeting the standards of the State Board of Health, and
WHEREAS, it is understood that a distribution of all Olympic
Health District property, both real and personal, shall be made to the two
counties on a fair and equatable basis as agreed uponby,theCornmissioners of
both counties.
IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Jefferson County will withdraw from the
Olympic Health District effective January 1, 1978, and as of that date
thereby establishing a County Department to be known as the Jefferson
County Health Department.
