RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of County Commissioners
that it is not in the public interest to continue to maintain as a part of the County
Road System:
All that portion of tae East Quilcene Road, County Road No.
20,south of a line 40' south of the north line of SE1 of the SE'
of Section 31, T. 27 N., R. 1 W.W.M.
and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, the same
is useless, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does now declare its
intention to vacate and abandon said road, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby directed to examine
said roads and report his opinion as to whether this county road should be vacated
and abandoned; whether any is in use or has been in use; the condition thereof, and
whether it will be advisable to preserve said road for the County Road System in the
future; whether the public will be benefited by the proposed abandonment, and all
other facts, matters and things which will be of importance to the Board; and that
such report be filed as soon as possible.
ADOPTED this 9 day of January, 1974.
