WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners, Jefferson County, Washington,
has entered into a Lease Agreement with the United States Postal Service for the
purpose of obtaining office and storage space on the premises of the U .S. Postal
Service Building, to be utilized for the conducting of activities by the Jefferson
County Extension Agent and the Washington State Extension Service, under the
auspices of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and
WHEREAS, said Lease is based on a month to month tenancy for an
indefinite period of time, beginning July I, 1974, and may be terminated at any
time by either party giving to the other a thirty-days written notice;
THEREFORE I BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS, that the Auditor be, and hereby she is authorized to pay the
United States Postal Service a monthly rental in the amount of $204.67, effective
Jul y I, 1974, until such time sa id Lea se is terminated.
