RESOLUTION NO. 4iJ -74
WHE REAS, Supe rior Court Judge G. B. Chambe rlin advise d
the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners that the legislature has created
anothe r Judge ship for the Clallam-Jeffe rson Judicial District, and
WHEREAS, funds to operate another department of the Superior
Court is a ne ce ss ity. and
WHEREAS. a supplemental emergency budget will now be required
when the Superior Court Judge. Tyler C. Moffet, position becomes effective
July 23, 1974. and
WHEREAS, it was impossible to foresee the conditions which
arose requiring the expenditure of more funds than were provided for in the
1974 Supe rior Court Budge t. and
WHE REAS, this is cons ide red a non-de batab1e eme rge ncy, now
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners, meeting in regular session, that a non-debatable emergency
exists in the Supe rior Court's Budget for 1974 in the amount of $4,600.00 and
it is he re by approve d that the following amount be place d into the Supe rior Court
Budget as indicated on the attached sheet, and
BE IT FURTHE R RESOLVE D, that the County Auditor be authorized
to supplement the above amount to be credited to the above account.
