WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of this
Board of County Commissioners by the Director of Planning
that certain funds should be expended for the purpose of
complying with the provisions of the Federal Emergency Employ-
ment Act, and
WHEREAS, appropriation therefor was not included in the
Planning Department budget of this County for fiscal 1974, and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and the
appropriation and expenditure of funds could not have been
reasonably foreseen by said Board at budget making time, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that the aforementioned facts constitute
an emergency and the estimated amount of appropriation to meet

the same is $300.00, under budget classifLcations as follows:
Clerical help (11-003). . .$250.00
Fringe benefits (11-001-005). . .$50.00,
and that notice of a public hearing hereon shall be given, said
hearing to be held on Monday, the 9th day of September, 1974,
at the hour of 10:00 o.clock in the forenoon of said day at
the Commissioners. Room in the Jefferson County Court House,
Port Townsend, Washington.
ADOPTED this 26th day of'August, 1974.
