This Board of County Commissioners having been advised
by the County Treasurer of the receipt of $4,610.30,under
R.C.W. 54.28, now, therefore,
Pursuant to the authority granted Boards of County
Commissioners under Section .090 of said Title, the County
Treasurer shall deposit said remittance of $4,610.30 to the
credit of the following taxing districts, viz:
To School District No. 20 General Fund
qJ, -r-' per cent of the whole thereof;
To School District No. 46 General Fund
..~ per cent of the whole thereof;
To the Jefferson County Current Expense
Fund ,y.j../ per cent of the whole thereof.

utility district, which acquires from any- private person, firm, or
corporation an operatiiigproperty situated within a school district,
is authorized tornake voluntary payments to such school district

PAYMENTS
Twenty-tbree public utility districts bave been assessed $5,063,197
in privilege taxes based on income from the generation, distribution and
sale of electric energy in 1973. Tbe revenue is 5.1 percent greater than
tbe $4,816,352 assessed last year.
Ninety-six percent of the revenue, $4,860,669, will be distributed
by the State Treasurer to the counties in which the P.U.D.s operate. Part
of tbe money is allocated in proportion to tbe amount of sales revenue in
eacb county, and tbe balance to tbe counties on a basis of facility loca-
tions. Tbe remaining 4 percent is retained by tbe state.
Boards of county commissioners are required to allocate at least 35
percent of the county sbares to local scbool districts.
One-fourtb of the total 1974 assessment - $1,304,008 - was paid by
Chelan P.U .D. based on revenues from tbe operation of its Rocky Reacb,
Rock Island and Chelan Falls bydro-e1ectric syet.... About the same por-
-cIon, $1,2S7 ,4%wu remi1:ted by--6rant County P .U.I)... which operates tbe
Priest Rapids and Wanapum plants. Payments were due May 31.
