WHEREAS, Resolution No. 65 -73 was adopted December 14, 1973, placing
a "hold" on expenditures of Jefferson County due to anticipated reductions in County
revenues, and
WHEREAS, it now appears that Jefferson County will receive during calendar
year 1974 funds adequate to meet the expenditures of the 1974 budget as established
prior to the "hold" imposed by Resolution No. 65 -73, and
WHEREAS, inflation has made it increasingly difficult for the divisions of
county government to operate within their budgets as restricted by Resolution No.
65 -73;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED as follows
The "hold" provisions of Resolution No. 65 -73 are hereby rescinded, and
Resolution No. 65 -73 is hereby declared to be without further effect.
The final budget for 1974, as set out in Resolution No. 58 -73, be and is
hereby reestablished.
APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th. day of October, 1974.
