RESOLUTION NO. Sj-tS
Resolution providing for the appropriation of money
for the Current Expense Fund, in order to
conform with the decision of the Supreme Court
in the case of State ex rel. King County
Assessor, 82 Wn2d 54~, and declaring an
emergency.
WHEREAS, it appears to the Board of County Commissioners
that it is now proper to establish and set up the necessary
procedure and the appropriation of money to comply with the
aforesaid ruling, and that there are no funds in the budgetK
of the A" j Y AflI/.. 1.1. .1' ~ County Treasurer to accomplish
the objective, now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED, and said Board does hereby find, that
the aforementioned facts constitute an. emergency to meet
mandatory expenditures req~ed by lhe court directive, an~'1

that the estimated amount money to meet ~uch emergency

is the sum of $ 15,000.00
.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the emergency thus created
is non debatable in character, falling under the provisions
of R.C.W. 36.40.180, the same is hereby entered without
notice or hearing.
ADDPTED this 27th day of August, 1973.
