RESOLUTION NO. ~9- ?S
Resolution authorizing emergency expenditure funds.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
Board of County Commissioners of Jefferson County by the
Curator of the Jefferson County Museum that certain funds
should be expended for salaries and other purposes during
calendar 1973, in order to maintain the same at a minimum
efficiency, and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not included
in the Current Expense Budget of said County for said year,
and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emergency exists and
that the expenditure of said funds could not have been
reason~bly foreseen by said Board at the time of making said
budget and that the amount necessary to be appropriated for
such purpose is the sum of $4,000.00, broken down as follows,
to-wit:

and
WHEREAS, there is now in the Treasury of Jefferson
County sundry funds received from the United States Depart-
ment of the Treasury, Office of Revenue Sharing, which may
properly be applied for this purpose, now, therefore
IT IS HEREBY UNANIMOUSLY RESOLVED by the members of
the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County,
Washington, that the aforesaid facts constitute an emergency,
and that the estimated amount of money to meet such emergency

is the sum of $4,000.00, as aforesaid, and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing
upon such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be
held on Monday, the 24th day of September, 1973, at the Com-
missioners Room in the Jefferson County Courthouse, Port
Townsend, Washington, at the hour of 10:00 o1clock in the
forenoon of said day.
ADOPTED this lOth day of September, 1973.
