RESOLUTION NO. ,M-j~?
Resolution authorizing emergency expenditure
funds.
WHEREAS~ it has been brought to the attention of the
Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County by the
Sheriff thereof that certain funds should be expended for
the purpose of maintaining his office at the minimum degree
. .
of efficiency, and
WHEREAS, expenditure of such funds was not included
in the budget for the Current Expense Fund for calendar <
1973~ and
WHEREAS, it appears that an emerg<e'hcy exists and that
the expenditure of such funds could not have been reasonably
foreseen at the time of the making 'of said budget, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED by the members of the Board of County
Commissioners for Jefferson County that the aforementioned
facts constitute an emergency, < and that the extimated amount
of funds to meet such emergency is $2,292.87, broken down" .
as follows, to-wit:
Salary, Office Assistant and Dispatcher,
monthly at . . . $553.33
Social security, monthly at . .. 32.37
Retirement, monthly at . .. 38.46
Insurance benefit~ monthly at . .. 59.65
'.:Industria.l insurance and medical
aid, monthly at .. 11.00
and
WHEREAS, it appearing to said Board that the salary
and fringe benefits hereinbefore set .forth come within the
provisions of the Emergency E~p1oyment Act, the County

Auditor shall conform to all the rules and regulations
thereunder, recognizing that the expenditure hereby created
is quasi reimbursab+e'.~by:<the United States Government., and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it appears that this
matter presents one of the cases as set forth in RCW 36.40.10,
the appropriation hereby made and an expenditure necessary
thereunder shall be in force and effect as of this date
without. further notice or hearing.
