WHEREAS, the Environmental Coordination Procedures Act of 1973 directs cities, counties and state agencies to cooperate in the coordination of certain environmental permits, and WHEREAS, each county is to designate a department or agency within it's jurisdiction as administrator of necessary procedures, as well as grant monies, and WHEREAS, grant-in-aid money is to be provided by the State of Washing- ton for implementation of said Act, and WHEREAS, the citizens of Jefferson County will benefit from such a permit coordination program, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS, JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, that the JEFFERSON COUNTY PIANNING DEPARTMENT IS DESIGNATED WITH RESPONSIBILITIES REIATIVE TO THE EN- VIRONMENTAL COORDINATION PROCEDURES ACT OF 1973.
