WBEREAS, provisions of Section 18, Chapter 277, Laws of 1971, Ex.
Sesssion and RCW 70.33.040 were each amended by Section 4, Chapter 213, Laws
of 1973, 1st. Ex. Session, to require that taxes collected from the mill levy for
tuberculosis hospitalization be placed in a separate fund of the county to be ex-
pended for the purpose of providing hospitalization, nursing home and other facil-
ities and services for residents suffering from tuberculosis, and
WHEREAS, the fund shall be called the Tuberculosis Hospital Fund
and shall be maintained separate and distinct from the Tuberculosis Fund now
providing tuberculosis control services, including case findings, prevention and
follow-up, and
v'lHEREAS, the Tuberculosis Fund shall continue to be used for making
expenditures in accordance with the standards established by the Secretary of the
State Department of Social and Health Services for the control, prevention, and
treatment of Toberculosis ,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF
JEFFERSON COUNTY, WASHINGTON, that the Treasurer be and hereby she is author-
ized and directed to place any taxes, current or delinquent, collected after July 16,
1973, in the Tuberculosis Hospital Fund, as follows:
Tuberculosis Fund 1973 - balance in fund at the end of 1972
plus 1/2 tuberculosis tax for 1973.
Tuberculosis Hospital Fund - 1/2 the tax after July 16, 1973.
