INTENTION TO VACATE
RESOWTION NO. ~ 4- ?..f
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of County Commissioners
that it is not in the public interest to continue to maintain as a part of the County
Road System:
A strip of land 40 feet wide across Tide Lot G, Tax Lot 2 and
Tax Lot 6, Section 14, T. 25N., R. 2 W.W.M., as described in a Quit -
Claim Deed dated March 31, 1936, and recorded in Volume 1 of Road
Waivers, Page 558, Records of Jefferson County.
and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, the same
is useless, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does now delcare its
intention to vacate and abandon said road, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby directed to examine
said roads and report his opinion as to whether this county road should be vacated
and abandoned; whether any is in use or has been in use; the condition thereof,
and whether it will be advisable to preserve said road for the County Road System
in the future; whether the public will be benefited by the proposed abandonment,
and all other facts, matters and thing which will be of improtance to the Board;
and that such report be filed as soon as possible.
