Dear Greg,
At your request, I have reviewed the special inspection requirements for the Kammer +
Halverson Residence. In the structural notes, we have listed inspection that is not required.
Please see below:
1. Special Inspection is not required for concrete construction. The concrete has been
designed using f’c of 2,500 psi and meets exception 2 of section 1705.3 of the IBC.
Special Inspection is required for steel construction. Periodic Inspection of fillet welds and
verification of welder certification is required.
