INTENTION TO VACATE
RESOLUTION NO. ~..z - 7..z -
WHEREAS, after due consideration, it appears to this Board of County Commis-
sioners that it is not in the public interest to continue to maintain as a part of
the County Road System:
All that portion of Old Shine-Teal Lake Road, County Road
No.8, in Sections 16 & 21, T. 28 N., R. 1 EWM, North and West
from the intersection of the new alignment according to the plan
and profile dated August 14, 1972, in the office of the Jefferson
County Engineer.
and in contemplation of the language of the statute R.C.W. 36.87.010, the same
is useless, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does now declare its
intention to vacate and abandon said road, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, and the County Road Engineer is hereby directed to examine
said roads and report his opinion as to whether this county road should be vacated
and abandoned; whether any is in use or has been in use; the condition thereof,
and whether it will be advisable to preserve said road for the County Road System
in the future; whether the public will be benefited by the proposed abandonment,
and all other facts, matters and things which will be of importance to the Board;
and that such report be filed as soon as possible.
