RESOLUTION NO. ~-71
vffiEREAS, the Washington State Legislature enacted
into law Engrossed House Bill No. 372, an act re-
lating to elections, creating a need beyond the
present staff limits of the Auditor's office.
~B, the BOARD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS,
deem it necesary to implement an automated voter
registration system.
~'JE HEREBY AUTHORIZE the County Auditor to enter into
negotiations with Allied Data* for a $500.00 implem-
entation fee (a portion of which may be returned to
the county if prorated cost is lower) plus a date
entry fee of $.18 per voter.
The monies involved
to be taken from the Election and Registration Rev-
olving Reserve Fund and does not involve an emergency
appropriation.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of August, 1971.
