RESOLUTION NO. 15-70
WHEREAS the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners are
in agreement with the Juvenile Probation Department and
the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission re-
garding a summer work project for boys 14-16 years of age,
and
WHEREAS, agreeable arrangements have been made through
the youth Development and Conservation Corps (YDCC), a
Division of the Washington State Parks and Recreation
Commission, to take care of the maintenance and upkeep
of the Jefferson County parks for the 8 weeks the "Ten
(10) Boy Crew Project" is in operation, and
WHEREAS, Jefferson County has $4,500.00 available in the
County Parks Fund, now,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Jefferson County
Commissioners authorize $4,500.00 from the Parks' mainten-
ance fund to be paid forthright to the Washington State
Parks and Recreation Commission to organize the entire project,
to include supervision, tools, payroll, insurance and the
administrative details and to furnish a complete resume and
outline to the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners, of
the cost and a refund will be made at that time if it is less
than the $4,500.00 appropriated herewith.
