WHEREAS" under and by virtue of the terms of that certain Agreement
made and entered into by and between the County of Jefferson, hereinafter
.
designated as the "County,," and the State of \.J'ashington" acting through its
Department of Highways and the Director thereof" under date of June 5
19~ the State will act as agent for the County in the participation of'
said County vIi th the Bureau of Public Roads under the provisions of the Federal
Aid Road Act of 1944" f'or the construction of Federal Aid Project No.
S-Oh97 (B) Qui1cene' - Center Road
copy of which agreement ,is hereunto attached" now referred to and by such refer-
ence incorporated. herein and made a part hereof" now" theret'ore"
BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED that said agreement be and the same is hereby
ratified and approved} and
BE IT FURTHER IillSOLVED that aut]1orization is hereby granted for the
reservation of an amount of One hundred six thousand six hundred tvTO and 59/100
Dollars ($fQ6,902059
) from monthly fuel tax allot-
ments" being an amount not in excess 'of' the money reasonably anticipated to

~ccrue to the County ~~ the Motor Vehicle Fund during the current bienD1um as
".:;he balance of the estimated participating share and costs of the County in .
the above-mentioned project" f'or the use of the Director of Hig;hways to defray
the costs incurred in the performance of the aforesaid requested work; and

upon completion of the aforesaid work" payment having been made therefor" and
a statement having been furnished to the County" authorization is made to
release to the County any unexpended balance of the amount reserved by this
resolution. The amount of Federal Aid participating funds will be credited
to the County when received from the Bureau of Public Roads.
The above funds will be withheld as follows:, ,
