Member Neilwasnot present. Approval ofSpecial Meeting Minutes ofNovember 2, 2021: Member Leavens moved toapprove the Special Meeting Minutes ofNovember 2, 2021. Member Smeland seconded themotion. The motion carried. Discussion andPotential Action re: LTAC Board Membership: Members Leavens and McKeehan stated they would liketocontinue toserving ontheLTAC Board. Member Smeland moved tore-appoint Members Leavens and McKeehan totheLTAC Board. Chair Eisenhour seconded themotion. The motion carried. Discussion andPotential Action re: Request forProposal (RFP) Timeline: After discussion LTAC members agreed tohave ChairEisenhour discuss withCounty Staff regarding anRFP timeline thatwillwork wellwith thecounty budget. She willreport back atafuture meeting. Discussion andPotential Action re: Previously submitted RFPofJefferson County Historical Society-Friends ofSwansonville Application: ChairEisenhour discussed herresearch onallowable funding uses forLTAC toseeifthis project could befunded. Inspeaking with legal counsel, itwas determined thatitwasanallowable useoffundspercounty code. Shenotedthat amember ofthe public voiced opposition citing Washington StateRCW onthematter. Member Smeland notedthatLTAC members approved theproject, pending legaladvice. Shemoved tofund theJefferson County Historical Society-Friends ofSwansonville project intheamount of 49,452.37. Member McKeehan seconded. Motion carried. Discussion andPotential Action re: Potential useofLTAC funds toSupport theService Industry and Visitor Staffing Issues asaResult oftheCOVID-19Pandemic: TheLTAC members discussed options including howLTAC funds canbeusedtopaybackabondused tobuild afacility. Chair Eisenhour willresearch further andreport back atafuture meeting. Future Meeting Agenda Items: Potential useofCOVID-19funds fortheservice industry.
