itlHEREAS, the first stage of the comp,rehensi ve planning
was completed ahead of schedule; and
~!HEREAS, THE REGIONAL COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION and the
JEFFERSON COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS wish to continue without
delay the accomplishment of the Comprehensive Plan, and
WHEREAS, the further expendi ture of funds past the completion
of Phase 1 were not provided for in the 1969 budget of JEFFERSON
COUNTY, and
WHEREAS, it appears an emergency exists and that the
expendi ture of such funds could not have reasonably been foreseen
by the Board of County Commissioners, or others interested, at the
time fo making said budget, now. therefore
It is hereby unanimously RESOLVED by the Board of County
..
Commissioners for Jefferson County, Washington, that the afore-
mentioned facts constitute an emergency, and that the eaU na ted
amount of funds to meet such emergency is $1,300.00, and
It is further JiESOLVED that notice of a public hearing upon
such expenditure shall be gi ven, said hearing to be held on Monday,
the 15th day of September, 1969, at the Commissioners t Room in the
Courthouse, Port Townsend, washington, at the hour of ten otclock
(10:00) a.m. on said day.
ADOPTED at a regular meeting, to-wit, this 2nd day of September,
1969.
