RESOLUTION NO c Z.~ -G. r
\~EREAS, the 1969 State Legislature enacted legislation,
subequently approved by the Governor, and
~mEREAS, Chapter 282, Laws of 1969, Extraordinary Session
has become effective to implement the Counties four year reva1ua-
tion cycle plan, and
WHEREAS, the option adopted by Jefferson County to carry
out above plan is by expansion of the Assessor I s present staff by
two (2) additional field appraisers.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVE.D:
The sum of F:i ve Thousand Two
Hundred Dollars ($5,200000) be' added to th e bu dget of the Count y
Assessor for the year, 19690
The funds will be us ed to defray
the cost of the additional personnel and supplies required pending
reimbursement to the County from State funds appropriClted by the
1969 Legislature under the above Lawo

~: It is requested an emergency ap~ropriation in the amount of

budget of the County Assessor for 1969 for purpose set forth

/((a) To implement the Jefferson County four year revaluation
cycle plan in accordance with provisions of Chapter 282,
Laws of 1969, Ex. Session.
.( b) Option adopted oy J eff'erson County :to carry out above
plan is by expansion of' the Assessor's present staff
by two (2) additional field appraisers. The funds
requested will be used to defray the cost of the
additional personnel and supplies required pending
reimbuxsement to the County from State funds appropri-
ated by the 1969 Lesislature under above law.
2. This office has been i~10rmed that the Jefferson County plan
has been approved for this revaluation program.
