RESOLUTION NO. 36-69
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON
COUNTY, WASHINGTON, distributing and allocating FEDERAL FOREST
RESERVE MONIES received by Jexxerson County xor the calendar
year 1969.
WHEREAS, the Jexxerson County Treasurer is in receipt ox the sum
ox $920,033.58 xrom the State Auditor ox the State ox Washington,
representing this County's distributive share ox Federal Forest
Reserve Revenues apportioned by the U. S. Department ox Agriculture
during the calendar year 1968, and pursuant to the statute ox the
State ox Washington in such cases made and provided it is now the
duty ox the Board or Jexxerson County Commissioners to make the
proper disposition thereox, and,
WHEREAS, this Board ox County Commissioners has given carexul
consideration to the needs ox the County Road System, and to the
needs ox the several school districts ox Jexxerson County and
their necessary administrative requirements, now, therexore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board ox County Commissioners does hereby
order, allocate, distribute and apportion said sum ox $920,033.58
as xollows:
(a) to the COUNTY ROAD FUND xor the maintenance and
construction ox County Roads during the year 1970, the
sum ox $460,016.79;
(b) to the COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS the sum or $460,016.79
to be distributed as xollows: to be apportioned according
to attendance in said Districts by the County Superintendent
ox Schools (Intermediate School District #114) according
to law, as xollows: School District No. 20 (Queets-Clear-
water) the sum ox $11,946.35; School District No. 46
(Brinnon) the sum ox $8,270.55; School District No. 48
(Quilcene) the sum ox $50,540.35; School District No. 49
(Chimacum) the sum ox $103,749.45; School District No. 50
(Port Townsend) $274,298.90; School District No. 402
(Qui11ayute) the sum ox 11,211.19.
ADOPTED this 3rd day ox November, 1969.
