a desire to avail itself of the powers conferred
evidenced
by Chapter 35.63, Revised Code of Washir~ton, concerning the
creation of a County Planning Commission, and on said date,
upon motion duly made and seconded attempted compliance
therewith and then and there designated and appointed a
commission membership of seven; named the individuals
to constitute the same and fixed the term of office of each.
However, thru inadvertence, no ordinance nor resolution
pertcining to the subject matter or objeotives has ever been
adopted.
Notwithstanding such inadvertence the individuals
so appointed met and organized as a body psli tic and since
the date of such organization has acted as the Jefferson
County Planning Commission de jure when in fact, and while on
the contrary may be considered as a County Planning Commission
de facto.
BUT whether or not the previou.sly attempted action

of this Board o.onsti tuting a Jefferson County Planning
Commission de facto or de jure, the organization has

performed its offioe in accordance with statute and accepted
responsibilities thereunder and its acts and doings, insofar
as this Board of County Commissioners may be empowered
to confirm, should be confirmed, therefore,
BE I T RESOLVED
That the attempted legislative action of this
Board of County Commissioners under date of ~~

same, in all respects, is hereby ra "(,ified and confirmed, and
the. t all the acts and doings of t.l6 Jeffe::.'son County
Planning Commission as created thereunder are li~ceViise
ratified and confirmed, and said Planning Commission, as now
constituted shall continue to act and carry out the duties
and obligations as defined by statute and such duties and
responsibilities as thi s Board of County Commissioners
for Jefferson County may hereafter direct or request, particular
reference is hereby made to the provisioLs of Section
35.63.060 RCW.
