RESOLUTION NO. a-In ~
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County by the
County Planning Commission, the City of Port Townsend
Planning Commission, other planners and associated agencies,
that certain funds should be expended by Jefferson County
for the purpose of participating in a program of regional
planning, including Jefferson County, and thus create
eligibility to Federal funds through the matching process,
and,
WHEREAS, expenditures of such funds were not included
in the 1968 budget of said county, and
WHEREAS, it appears an emergency exists and that the
expenditure of such funds could not reasonably have been

foreseen by the Board of County Commissioners, or others
interested, at the time of making said budget, now there-
fore
It is hereby unanimously RESOLVED by the Board of
County Commissioners for Jefferson County, Washington,
that the aforementioned facts constitute an emergency, and
that the estimated amount of funds to meet such emergency

It is further RESOLVED that notice of a public hearing
upon such expenditure shall be given, said hearing to be
held on Monday, the 19th day of February, 1968, at the
