the following resolution was proposed, seconded, and adopted by a vote of
a majority of said Board:
''WHEREAS, the United :states of .America, by and. through
its Bonneville Power Administrator, has bargained for a per-
petual easement over and. across the following-described
property, the title to which is vested in Jefferson County,
Washington, to-wi t:
Tract No. 3SF-1l9C: ~t portion of the North 465 feet of the
East 465 feet of the ~ of Section 13, Township 26 North,
Range 2 West, Willamette Meridian, Jefferson County, Washington,
which lies Easterly of a line which is 62.5 feet Westerly frail
and parallel with the surY'ey line of the United States of America
for its Bonneville Power Administration's Shelton-Fai1'lllount No. 3
transmission line, said survey line being described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the west line of said Section 13
which is S l011'W, 759.7 feet trom the west quarter corner
of said Section 13; thence N 190Q9'E, 1159.2 feet; thence
N 18047'E, 2305.1 feet to a point in the north line of said
Section 13 which is 889050'w, 1012.7 feet frcm the north
quarter comer of said Section 13.
Tract No. 3SF-138: A strip of land 57.5 feet in width through
Lots 15, 16, and 17, Block 1.4, Quilcene TOIID1Site in Section 24,
Township 27 North, Range 2 West, Willamette Meridian, Jefferson
County, Washington. Said strip of land lies on the westerly
side of, runs parallel with, and adjoins the existing 200-
foot right of way of the United States of America for its Bonne-
ville Power Administration's Sh.elton-Fai1'lllount No. 1 transmission
line, the survey line of said 200-foot right of way being described
in that certain deed dated August 18, 1947, recorded in Book 122,
page 224, Auditor's File No. 11563, Deed Records of said County.
to be conveyed to the United States of America for the agreed consideration
of TWO HUNDRED TWmTY-FIVE DOLLARS ($2S5.00), for the purpose of constructing
and operating a federal power project;

N<JY THER.EFURE, BE IT RESOLVED, That the Board of County Commissioners,
acting by vote ofa majority of its members, execute and deliver to the United
States of America a deed conveying an easement in, over, upon, and across the
real property first above described, for the construction, operation, maintenance,
repair, rebuilding, and patrolling of one or more electric power transmission
lines, and wires, and appurtenances convenient thereto, with the right conferred
upon the grantee to maintain and keep said parcel of land at all times free and
clear of trees and brush, and of all structures or materials which interfere
or create a hazard in cormection with said electric power transmission lines,
wires, and appurtenanc es convenient thereto, wi th the right to remove danger
trees, if any, located beyond the limits of said right of way, and with the
right at all times to go upon said land for any of the foregoing purposes.
