'.IHEREA:'3, Jefferson Count;;' Resolution No.1, dated June 1, 1959,
establis:ted, under the provisions of the 1.Iashington ~)ta.te Civil Defense Act
of 1951, the Jefferson Count~r Civil Defense Council and the Jefferson County
Civil Defense Fund, and,
\IIIEllEAS, the City of Port Townsend's first contribution to above
fund was in 1967, consequently all monies prior to 1967 and including 1967
expended for Civil Defense purposes, VJas from budgetary provisions in the
County Current Expense Fund, and,
rITT~~REAS, future expenditures for Jefferson County Civil Defense
\'Jill be drmm on the Jefferson Count;;r Civil Defense Fund,
Ti'-ERZ}'ORE, BE IT RESOLV'.c:D, that $1,156.30 remaining in the 1968
County Current EXIJense Civil Defense Budget be transferred to the Jefferson
County Civil Defense Fund administered by the Jefferson County 'l'reasurer.
Dated this 1st day of April, 1968, at Port Townsend, Washington.

BE IT RESOLVED THAT }HEBQA.RD OF JEFFERSON COUNTY
COl'.-'iMTSSIONERS , the duly authorized governing body of
JEFFERSON COUNTY
, having taken
the matter into full consideration and having determined by the required
vote, as stated in the minutes, does hereby designate
JOHN G..
DOUBEK , the representative of the aforementioned
institution. The said representative i~ hereby authorized to bind the
institution to the particular terms and conditions of transfer which are
or may be imposed by the execution of the Form HEW 135 or the state agency
warehouse issue sheet. The said representative is moreover empowered to
delegate the authority imposed upon him to such people as he considers
reasonably necessary to accomplish these purposes. He is herewith inst-
ructed to confer upon those people designated by him such authority as is
necessary and to see that they are properly identified by card or letter.
