A RESOLUTION OF nm SOARD OF COUNTY CQ'VlMISSIONERS OF JEFFERSON
COUNTY, WASHINGTON, distl'ibuting and allocating FEDERAL :FOREST
RESERVE monies rec.i.~.d by Jefterson County in the calendar year
1968.
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County nt.asurer is in receiPt of the sum
of $747,124.85 from the State Auditor of the State of Washington,
representing this County' s,dl.:tIt:1~utive share of Federal Forest
Reserve Revenues apportioned' by the U. S. Department of Agriculture
during the calendar yea.x 1967, and pursuant to the s,tatute of the
, State ot Washington in such cases made and provided it is now the
duty of the Board of Je.ff'erson county Commissioners to make the
proper diapoiitionthereof, and,
WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has given careful con-
sideration to the needs of the County: Road System, and to the needs

administrative requirements, now, therarore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of county Commissioners does
hereby order allocate t distribute andl'~pportion said sumo:!

$747,124.85 as follows:
(a) to the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the maintenance and construction
of County Roads during the year 1969, l~e sum of $373,562.43;
(b) to the COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS the sum or $373,562.42 to be
distributed as followsl to be apportioned according to attendance in
said Districts by the County Superintendednt of Schools according to
law, as tol1ows: School District No. 20 (QuestS-Clearwater) the sum
of $9,901.79; Scbool District No. 46 (Brinnon) the sum of $6,381.47;

School District NO. 48 (Quilcene) the sum. of $46,695.25; School District
No. 49 (Chimacum) the sum of $83,803.94; School District No. 50 (Port
Townsend) the s.um ot $220.546.23; School District No. 402 (Quillayute)
the sum of $6,233.74..

FIXING THE BUDGET FOR THE YEAR 1969 }
WHEREAS, the Preliminary Budget of expense, proppsed by the
several departments, 'for the year 1969 having been cOlllplied with,
and the estimated duly filed with the County Auditor of Jefferson
County, Washington, on or before the second lYlonday in August, 1968.
WHEREAS, the Auditor of Jefferson County, Washington, did
prior to the first day of September, 1968, submit to the Board of
Jefferson County Commissioners, the budget proposed by the several
departments of said County, in accordance with the provisions of
5'; the law Chapter 164 of the 1923 Session taws, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners met in regular
session on Monday, October 7, 1908, County Commissioners Room,
Jefferson County Courthouse, in the City of Port Townsend, Jefferson
County, State of Washington at 10;00 A. M. for the purpose of
hearing all matters and all persons inl,.oconnection wi thsaid budget,
notice of such hearing having been pub:j;ished as required by law,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF COUN:TY COlYIMISSIONERS, in regular
session assembled, on the 11th day of Oo"tober, 1968, do hereby fix
and determine each item of the budget separately, and by resolution
ABOPTED and the Tax tlevies fixed as' follows:
