RESOLUTION NO. 17
BE IT RESOLVED that we, the Board of Jefferson County Commissioners
do hereby aut~~riz. the County Auditor to expend the necessary funds"
not to exce..&"$9,OOO.OO to equip the Auditor's office with a
bookkeeping machine, including initial auxiliary equipment and
supplies, capable of performing all the bookkeeping processes of
the Auditor's office now'done by duplicating hand entry methods.
Maohine to be purchases at Government price.
Order may be placed now wi th expendi ture to be paid in cash af1ier

purpose will be paid.
Balance to be borrowed on a temporary loan
transfer from the County Road Fund to be amortized over a maximum
of three years. A reasonable interest rate will be charged. (1%
is recognized as reasonable)
Loan to be consumated and incumbrance
paid not later than February 1,1968.

The Prosecuting Attorney is hereby authorized to draw the necessary
papers to effect the loan transfer immediately after the 1968
Budget 1s in effect.
