RESOLUTION NO. C-6.3S
WHEREAS:
The proposed Route No.1, Vashon Route, for one of the
proposed Cro ss-Sound Bridges is out of direction for the
travelling public of Jefferson County, resulting in heavy
transportation costs, transit time loss, in excess of
proposed Routes No.2 or No. .3.
NOW, THEREroRE, be it resolved that the Board of County
Commissioners of Jefferson County, Washington record itself as
being definitely opposed to the proposed Vashon', location for
the Cross-Sound Bridge.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that should proposed routes No.2
or No. .3 be economically feasible as reflected by Highway
Department studies, ei th er is favored.
