A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Comniissioners for JeffersonCoun ty, !h3;\.-
ington, distributing and allocating Federal Forest Reserve monies received
by Jefrerson County in the calendar year 19660
l~EREAS, the Jefferson County Treasurer is in reC!ipt of the sum of
$459,291061 from the State Auditor of the State of Washington, representing
this County's distributive share of Federal Forest Reserve Revenues apportioned
by the U. S. Department of Agriculture durin? the c~lendar year 1965, and . '
pursuant to the statute of the State of Washl ngton In such cases made and provlC
it is now the duty of this Board of County Commissioners to make proper dis-
position thereof, and. '
WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has given careful consideration
to the needs of the oounty road system, and to the needs of the several school
districts of Jefferson County and their necessary administrative requirements,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of Counyy Commissioners does hereby order
allocate, distribute and apportion said sum ,of $459,291.61 as follows:
(a) to the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the maintenance and construction of county
roads during the year 1967, the sum of $229,645081;
(b) to the COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS the sum of $229,645080 to be distributee
as follows:
To S~ool District No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater) the sum of $5,000.00 for
disbursement in such manner as the Directors 'of that school may direct:
To School District No. 46 (Brinnon) the sum of $16,000.00 for disbursement
in such, manner as the Directors of that school may direct;
To School Districts of the County, the sum of $208,645.80 to be apportionec
according to attendance in said Districts by the County Superintendent of
Schools according to law, as follows: School District Noo 20 (Queets-Clearwater
the sum of $4,788070; School District No. 46 (Brinnon) the sum of $5,038.00;
School District No. 48 (Quil cene), the sum of $23,121.83; School Distric:t No.
49 (Chimacum), the sum of $47,526.81; School District Noo 50 (Port Townsend),
the sum of $124,606.88; and School District NOo 402 (Quil1ayute) the sum of
$3,563.580
