DISTInCT NO.3, FIXING THE BOiTNDA '-lIES THEREOF, AND PROVIDING
FOP AN ELECTION TIIEMTN TO DETERMINE WEETHER THE DISTRICT
SHALL BE ORGANIZED" AED TO ELECT FIRST COMMISSIO;J::nS, AND

WHEREAS, pursuant to the statute provided, a hearing was had on
October 18, 1965, to consider the Petition for Formation of a Fire
Protection District within the boundaries hereinafter described, and
~IiEREAS, after hearing duly held, upon notice given~ the Board
of County Com_missioners determined that the lands hereinafter described
will be benefitted by the creation of aFire Protection in said
described boundaries, and that said district will be conducive to the
public safety, welfa.re and convenience, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, BY THE BOARD OF COln~Y CO~m~ISSIONERS FOR JEFFERSON
COl:JNTY, WASHINGTON, IN REGULAR SESSION ASSEMBLED, that:
Section 1. It will be conducive to the public safety, welfare and
oonveneience to form a fire protection distriot in said Jefferson
County within the boundaries desor'ibed as follows:
Seotions 4,5,6,7,8,9,10,15,16,17 and 18 in Township
2€ North, Range 1 East, of the Willamette Meridian;
Sections 28,29,30,31,32 and 33 in Township 29 North,
Range 1 East of the Willamette Meridian; and the East
! of Sections 1 and 12, and the Northeast i of Section
13, in Township 28 North, Range 1 West, Willamette
Meridian, all lying and being in said Jefferson County.
Section 2. The name and number of said Fire Protection District
shall be "'Jefferson County Fire Protection District No.3."
Section 3. The boundaries of Jefferson County Fire Protection
District No. 3 shall be those set forth in t he lands in described in
Seotion 1 hereof..
Section 4. The Supervisor of Elections for Jefferson County,
Washington is here and hereby directed to cause 8.n election to be held
in said Fire Pwotection District No. 3 on December 8, 1965, in the
manner provided by law, for the purpose of submitting to the electors
therein the proposition as to whether or not said distriot shall be
organized$ and, if so, to elect its first commissioners.
Section 5. The said Board of County Commissioners here and hereby
names Rober~ Deskins, oWl~'~~&>and Dennis Hannan~ resident electors
of Jefferson County Fire Protection DisJrict No~ 3, as candidates for the
position of first corrl~issioners in said fire protection district,
pursuant to ~he statute made and provided.
