RESOLUTION NO. C-623
.
A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commis sioners fo r Jefferson County, W'ash-
ington, distributing and allocating Federal Forest Reserve monies
received by Jefferson County in the calendar year 1965.
vffiEREAS1 the Jefferson County Treasurer is in receipt of the sum of
$5~1, 27 j.93 from the State Auditor of the State of Washington, rep-
resenting this County's distributive share of Federal Forest Reserve
Revenues apportioned by the U. S. Department of Agriculture during
the calendar year 1964, and pursuant to the statute of the State of
Waslj,ington in such cases made and provided, it is now the duty of
thi s Board of County Commissioners to make proper disposition
thereof, and,
VJHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has glven careful consideration
to the needs of the county road system, and to the needs of the several school
tistricts of Jefferson County and their ne cessary administrative requirements,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does hereby order
allocate, distribute and apportion said sum of $5~1,273.93 as follows:
(a) to the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the maintenance and construction of county
roads during the year 1966, the sum of $$290,636.97;
(b) to the COUNTY SCHOOL D'ISTRICTS the sum of $290,636.96 to be distributed
as follows:
To School District No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater) the sum of $5,000.00 for
disbursement in such manner as the Directors of that school may direct:
To School Distridt No. 46 (Brinnon) the sum of $5,000.00 for disbursement in
such manner as the Directors of that school may direct;
To School Districts- of the County, the sum of $2~0, 636.96 to be apportioned
accordi ng to attendance in said Di stri cts- by the County Superintendent of Schools'
according to law, as follows:
School District No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater) the
sum of $4,$84.77; School District No. 46 (Brinnon) the sum of $7,125.45; School
District No. 4$ (Quilcene), the sum of $32,27$.24; School District No. 49 (Chim-
acum), the sum of $59,452.24; School District No. 50 (Port Townsend), the sum of
$172,4$4.14; and School District No. 402 (Quillayute) the sum of $4,411.9$.
ADOPTED this 1st day of November, 1965.
