This matter coming tm to be heard this day upon the County Road Engineert s
report with respect to the vacation and abandonment of those portions of county
roads set forlh in Resolution No. C-593 adopted the 4th day of Hay, 1964, and
it appearLTlg to the Board of County C~ssioners t~at notice of hearing upon
said Engineer's report. has been posted and published for the time and in the
manner. provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being now on file
herein, and said Board having proceeded to consider the report of the Engineer,
together with the other evidence adduced, and being fu~ advised in the premises,
does now find and determine
(1) That those portions hereinafter described are not useful as parts of the
county road ~Jstem;
(2) That the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof; 'NCJ....I THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDE-RED that
1. All that portion of the old Stutler Hill road. through the west t of the
NEt of Sec. 26, T. 28 N., R. 2 Wo, W.M. which viaS replaced by the construction of the
r).~:nv Stutler Hill Road (Lords Lake Road, Coumy Road No. 30) under C.R.P. No. 108,
approved June 2nd, 195~.
2. All that portion or-the Nordland Cemetery Road (Co. Rd. No. 4-6.83) lying
between .the Nordland Road (CQ. Rd. No.4) and the East Marrov-Tstone Road (Co. Rd.
No. 2-2.2g.).
. 3. All that portion of the old ChimaCU1TI. - Quilcene road, established
Feb. 4, 1891; described as follows: Beginnin('; at the south end of the Ncl'1illen
road (Co. Rd. No. 18-9.80) 0.34 mile south of its northerly junction 1nth Co. Rd.
No. 18; thence southerly to the' easterly right of way line of County Road No<, 18
in the .S~ of the SE~ of Sec. 9, T. 28 N., R. 1 W., W.N.
4. All those portions of the old Discovery Road lying outside of the right of
way of the . present location of County Road No. 38" from the railroad bridge in the
NEt of Sec. 17, To 30N., R. l~i." W.l1. southerly to the south Une of the NE!
of the 11Vl! of Sec. 29, T. 30 N., R. 1 W., WJ1.
5. That portion of the Old TO"WTlSend - Chimacum road, established Aug. 5, 1889,
from the south line of Lawrence Ave. at Elizabeth Street in Phillips Bay View
Addition southeasterly to the westerly right of way line of State Highlo1aJr No. 113;
except~ng therefrom al!-y platted streets in said Phillips Bay View Addition.
6. All that portion of the Chimacu.m Creek Road' (Co. Rd. No. 12-1.54) lying
within .the west t of Sec. 34, T. 30 N., R. 1 H., W.}1.
7. All of Co. Rd. No. 22-2.70 sometimes known as the Jacobsen Road or the
Gorham Bishop Road from the Chimacum West Valley road to its wesetern termini,
including the souther1y branch of said road approved June 5th" 1907, as the L.
H. Maas Road.
. . 8. That portion of the old Swansonville Road (Co. Rd. No. 90), replaced by
C.R.P. No. 105 approved April, 1952, between station 55+00 near the Swansonville'
Church and station 85+00 in the SEl of the SW~ of Sec. 5, T. 28 N., R. 1 E." W.N.
9. All those portions of former locations of the Chimacum - Quilcene
Road in the 1'1\'11- of the SEi of Sec. 3, T. 28 oN.,R. 1 W., W.M. ~ng east of the
right of way of the present locations of Ceo Rd. No. 18 and State Highw.ay No. 104.

10. All that portion of the old location of Co. Rd. No. 90 known variously
as the Bishop, Bengston or Egg and I road and originally established No.6" 1886,
as part of the Port Ludlow - Port Discovery road; lYing outside of the right of
way of the present road constructed under C.R.P~ No~ 116, approved June 1, 1953,
and C.R.P. 140, approved Aug. 10, 1956; from Co. Rd. No. 18 on the west to Co.
Rd. No. 12 on the east.
11. NOT VACATED
be and 'Ene same are hereby vacated and abandoned.
