I: 'I Ie Ii RESOLUTION". _No. C C -s-q 7 I' - II III WHEREAS, on March t++~, 1964, there was filed with the Auditor 'I of Jefferson County, a petition for the purpose of forming a water district under the provisions of R. C. W. 57.04.020, et seq., and said Auditor having found and determined that said petition con- tains a sufficient number of signatures of qualified persons, and having attached thereto her certificate of sufficiency and on March 6, 196M; transmitted the same to the Board of c.ounty C.ommiss- ioners, and said Hoard having then and there, by resolution entered upon their minutes, fixed Monday, the 6th day of April, 1964, at the hour of 10:00 A. M. of said day at the Commissioners' Room in the Jefferson County Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington, as the time and place for the hearing of said petition, and WHEREAS, at said time and place said petition came on for hearing, proof having been made to the satisfaction of this Board that NOtice hereof has.---been given for the time and in the manner provided by law, and upon the petitioners withdrawing from the I proposed district all real estate owned by Charles McNeal and Glen- ess McN~al, his wife, there were no objections made or filed, and the Board~roceeded to hear the petition and upon conclusion, makes the following findings: 1. That the formation of said water district would be condusive to , the public health, welfare and convenience and of special benefit to the land included in said boundaries. 2. That the boundaries of said water district shall include all of the property described as follows: Government Lot 3 of Section 29, Township 25 N~rth, Range 2 West of the Willamette Meridian, EXCEPTING THEREFROM all property in said Lot 3 which is owned by Charles McNeal and Gleness McNeal, his wife, on April 6, 1964; in Jefferson County, Washington. 3. That an election was held on Tuesday, May 26, 1964, pursuant tol legal notice, to determine if said water district should be organ- i ized. That said election was, so far as possible, called, noticed,j conducted and canvassed in the same manner and by the same official~ as is provided for a special election in the County to authorize I the issuance of bonds for a county purpose, and all said officials I did have full authority to do all things necessary for the purpose i of the election. I 4. The name and number of said water district shall be Jefferson County Water District No.2, commonly known as ROCKY POINT WATER DISTRICTZ 5. That at said election three resident electors of said water district were elected, and their names and term of office is as follows: William E. Casey, 6 years; Harry K. Shepardson, 4 years; and Dr! L. Bpwd;ish:f, 2 years. 6. That at said election there were ten votes cas. in favor of the formation of said water district, and there were no votes cast against the formation of said water district.
