A RESOLUTION of the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County,
Washington, distributing and allocating Federal Forest Reserve
monies recei ved by Jefferson County in the calendar year 1964.
WHEREAS, the Jefferson County Treasurer is in receipt of the sum
of $4g1,g45.36 from the State Auditor of the State of Washington, representing
this County's distributive share of Federal Forest Reserve revenues apportioned
by the U. S. Department of Agri culture during the cal endar year 1963, and pursuant
to the statute of the State of Washington in su ch cases made and provided, it is
now the duty of this Board of County Commissioners to make proper di sposi tion
thereof, and, ...
WHEREAS, this Board of County Commissioners has given careful consi'deration
to the needs of the county road system, and to the needs of the several school
districts of Jefferson County and their necessary administrative requirements,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, and this Board of County Commissioners does hereby order,
allocate, distribute and apportion said sum of $4g1,g45.36 as follows:
(a) to the COUNTY ROAD FUND for the maintenance and construction of county
roads during the year 1965, the sum of $240,922.6g;
(b) to the COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICTS the sum of $240,922.6g to be distributed
as follows:
To School District No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater) the sun of $5,000.00 for
disbursement in such manner as the Directors of that school may direct;
To School District No. 4h (Brinnon) the sum of $5,000.00 for disbursement
in such manner as the Directors of tha t school may direct;
To School Districts of the County, the sum of $230,922.6g to be apportioned
according to attendance in said Districts by the County Superintendent of Schools
according to law, as follows: School District No. 20 (Queets-Clearwater) the sum
of $4,207.43; School District No. 46 (Brinnon) the sum of $5,350.45; School
District No. 4g (Quilcene), the sum of $2g,352.22; School District No. 49
(Chimacum) the sum of $4g,5~.25; School District No. 50 (Port Townsend), the
sum of $140,Ogg.03; and School District No. 402 (Quillayute) the sum of $4,41g.30.
