RESOLUTION NO '. 0'-559
This Board of County Commis sione rs having been informed by sources
considered authoritative and reliable, that in the event it forthwith
directs the location of a road or higtlway wi thin its boundaries, viz:
from a point on the Coyle road (Jefferson County No. 16), a distance of
approximately L.O miles to Zelatched Point; perform the necessary pre-
liminary engineering incident thereto; adopt plans and specifications
consonant therewith; work up an estimate of construction costs; and, if
the same meets with the approval of, and the standards set by the Highway
Department of the State of Washington and the United States Bureau of Public
Roads~ the Highway Department of the State of Washington, will at the
expense of the State, proceed to acquire the necessary Right of Way in the
name of Jefferson County, and when right of way has been acquired, call fo r
bids upon the approved plans and specifications; let the job, and order the
work, subject to the supervision and under the control of the Jefferson
County Engineer, and upon acceptance, pay for the same, and the \'bole thereof
and reimburse Jefferson County for all of its preliminary engineering and
construction engineering expense, so t hat in the end Jefferson County will
have. a public road, without cost to itself, except future maintenance,
preservation and repair.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners for Jefferson County,
and it is here by ORDERED,
That the Jefferson County Road Engineer proceed to accomplish the
objecti ves as set forth in the preamble of thi s Resolutiono
ADOPTED this 7th day of October, 1963.
