The Jefferson County Board of County Commissioners,
pursuant to Chapter 229, section 27, Laws of 1961, finding that
the plan proposed by the Districting Committee of Jefferson County,
state of Washington conforms to the statndards set forth in said
Chapter, and that it is conducive to the best interests and
welfare of the county as a whole, does hereby and herewith adopt
the same, and pursuant thereto does ordain as follows:
1. Jefferson County shall be composed of one Justice Court
District, the boundaries of which shall be co-extensive with
the boundaries of Jefferson County, state of Washington.
2. One Justice of the Peace shall be elected in said
district, and it shall be a one judge district.
3. The location of the central office courtrooms and
records of the court shall be at the County seat Courthouse,
Por~ Townsend, washington.
4. Except for Court commissioners hereinafter mentioned the
Justice Court shall sit only in Port Townsend, Jefferson County,
Washington.
5. There shall be two Court Commissioners, one to sit in
the West End of Jefferson County, and the other to sit at
Quilcene, in Jefferson County, Washington.
6. Initially there shall be only one department of the said
Justice Court.
7. The name of the said Justice Court District shall be
Jefferson County Justice Court District.
