This matter coming on to be heard this day upon the County Road Engineer's
report with respect to the vacation and abandonment of those portions of county
roads set forth in Resolution No. C-502 adopted the 21st day of Hay, 1962, and
it appearing to th~ Board of County Commissioners that notice of hearing upon
said Engineer's report has been posted and published for the time and in the
manner provided by law, proof of such posting and publication being now on file
herein, and said Board having proceeded to consider the report of the Engineer,
together with the other evidence adduced, and being fully advised in the premises,
does now find and determine
(1) That those portions hereinafter described are not useful as parts of the
county road system;
(2) That the public will be benefited by the vacation thereof, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED, and it is HEREBY ORDEHED that
(1) All those portions of the old vloodman to Chimacum (Anderson Lake) road,
including the Riley Logging road, through sections 9, 10" 15 and 16" T. 29
N., R. 1 lif." 'V'l.H.; outside of the right of way of the present Anderson Lake
Road constructed under C.R.Po No. 194, approved Oct. 19" 1959, and C.R.P.
212, approved Febo 6, 1961; and excepting also the approach to the Chirnacwn
West Valley Road (Co. Rd. No. 22-5.45)
. (2) All that portion o.f County Road No. 30 through the NE! of the S1rJ-l- of
Sec. 22, T. 28 No, R. 2 W., W.N. replaced ~T the construction of C.R.P. No.
159 approved February 4, 1957.
(3) All those portions of the old Chirnacum West Valley road replaced by
construction of the present existing road (Co. Rd. No. 22) as follows:

18-2.05); said old roads being replaced by C.R.P. No. 133, approved Feb. 11,

(5) All those portions of the old Griffith road through the NE:i of the Mvi
of sec. 29, ~he SE:i of the SW'i, the Wi of the SEi and the Sli! of the NE1 of
sec. 20 all ~n T. 28 N., R. 1 W., W.N., replaced by the construction of-
C.R.P. Noo 86, approved August 5, 1948;
Also through the NE~ of the SEi and -the sEi of the NEi of Sec. 17, T.
28 N., R. 1 \i., IrI.N., replaced by the construction of C.R.P. No. 1l.~8,
approved April 16, 1956.
(6) That portion of the Old Garbage Dump Road (Co. Rd. No. 40-6.21)
northerly of the junction wi-th the r.fcHinn Road in Lat 4, Sec. 6, T. 30
N., R. 1 H., W.N.; also the branch thereof extending to -the easter~
portion of the old dump area.
(7) That portion of the old Port Townsend-Chimacum road (Co. Rd. No.
12-0.00) in -the W! of the S~Ji of Sec. 21, T. 30 N., R. 1 .'/J., W.B., lying
'westerly of the right of ."ray of P .S.H. No.9.
(8) That portion of the old Tmmsend-Chimacum Road replaced U<J the
construction of CoR.P. No. 20, approved Odober 6, 1939, and reconstructed
under C.R.P. No. 107 approved Janualjr 18, 1954; from P.S.H. No.9 in the
sw-i of the S',o:-i of Sec. 21, T. 30 N., R. 1 vi., W.No, sou-ther:!'y to the Four
Corners-Irondale Road (Co. Rd. No. 38) in the ffiv~ of the SW% of Sec. 34,
T. 30 N., R. 1 ~'J., W.H.;except that portion komm as the "Drive-in Theater
Road" (Co. Rd. No. 12-0.19).
(9) That portion of the Old Discovery Road (Coo Rd. No. !t2-0.LJ-0.18)
and that pori~ion of the Old Arcadia-Cape George Road (Co. Rd. No. 42-0.43)
from the Jacob Hiller Road (Co. Rd. No. 42) in Sec. 16, to j-gnctions irrith
the present Arcadia-Cape George Road (Co. Rd. No. 98) in Sec. 17, all in
To 30 N., R. 1 W., W.H.; both replaced by the construction of C.R.P. No. 92,
approved November 8, 1949J excepting platted streets in the Irving Park
Addition.
(10) The Old Andy Cooper road rurming along the north boundary of Sec. 27,
To 28 N., R. 1 E., W.I>1.; from the Teal Lake Road to the pla-t of Paradise
View Estates, including that portion deeded to Jefferson County bjr Puget
tftll Co., June 20, 1940, and recorded on page 338 of Volume III of Deeds,
records of Jefferson County, Washington.
(11) The Harris Road (Co. Rd. Noo 66) being a portion of old P.S.H. No.9
in Sec. 2, T. 25 N., R. 2 \1., W .M., from an intersedion with the present
P.S.H. No.9 approximateJy one-quarter mile south of the Dosewallips Bridge
running thence northwesterJy for approximately four-tenths mile to the old
bridge site at the Dosewallips Rivero
(12) That portion of the Lmver Hoh Road (Co. Rd. No. 212) from the north
bank of the existing channel of the Hoh River in Lot 5, Sec. 22, To 26 N.,
R. 13 \V'., ;V' .H.; thence southeasterly appro:x::L'1lately one-half mile to the old
channel of the Hoh River, which is the present charmel of Braden Creek, at
the location of -the old Lower Hoh suspension bridge.
(13) That portion of the old Coyle Hill road from the easterly end of the
Broshears road (Coo Rdo No. 16-3.99-0.89) thence easterly and southerly
through sections 4, 3 and 10 to i-ts junction with the present Coyle Road
