WHEREAS, at the time of the adoption of the official
budget for the Current Expense Fund for the fiscal year 1962,
the needs and essentials of the county as hereinafter set
forth were not foreseen, or could not reasonably have been
foreseen, and a public emergency is now found and declared
to exist requiring the expenditure of money not provided for

in said bu.dget, as follows:

l~ea ! - for the preservation and repair of the ~.iie
of the courthouse buildin~ an estimated $6,000.00 is required
to meet what is necessary to be done;
!1!m ~ - for the construction of rest rooms and other
facilities at the North Beach Park an estimated $1,000.00 is
required to meet what is necessary to be done;
Nbw therefore, NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public
hearing hereon will be held at the Commdssioners' Room in
the Jefferson County Courthouse, Port Townsend, Washington,
on Tuesday, the 4th day of September, 1962, at the hour of
ten o'clock in the forenoon of said day, at which any tax-
payer may appear and be heard for or against the expenditure
of money for the alleged emergencies.
ADOPTED this 10th day of August, 1962.
