RESOLUTION No. (!, - S' I ~
WHEREAS fer several years last past the location
of a suitable site for a garbage dump for the Brinnon area
has has been the business of this Board of County Commissioners
and without success, and
WHEREAS it now appears that the Soott Paper
Company has land available for the purpose indicated and
are ready,~l and willing to convey the same to Jefferson
County, but inasmuch as no provision had been made in the
budget for the Current Expem e Fund for the year 1962,
to acquire land for the purpose (as none then appeared
J.vailable), a publr emergency is now found and declared to

exist reqUir~the appropriation of the sum of $500.00
for such land acquisition, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the County A\1ditor be and she is
hereby authorized a nd empowered to issue emergency warrants
upon the Current Expense Fund of this county, not exceeding
said amount upon the delivery of a suitable deed and upon
the presentation of properly approved voucher, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOIlTED that the subject matter hereof
being one for t he preservation of publi c health, this
Emergency shall become effective forthwith, with-out further
notice or hearing.
