RESOLUTION NO. C - S / 1 A
WHEREAS, on the 5th day of October, 1962, the Board of
County Commissioners for Jefferson County, by resolution
received a petition for the formation of a fire protection
district within the hereinafter described boundaries, and
by the same resolution fixed the 26th day of October, 1962,
at the hour of ten o'clock (10:00) in the forenGlOn of said
day for a public hearing on said petition held at the office
of said Oommissioners; and
WHEREAS, it appears that due notice of such hearing has
been given pursuant to session, by the Clerk of~id Board
of County Commissioners; and
WHEREAS, the said hearing was held upon the aforemen-
tioned date, and evidence was received for or~ against the
formation of said fire district, and the Board having duly
considered the matter, now therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED that the formation of the fire protection
district within the hereinafter described area will be con-
ducive to public safety, welfare, and convenience, and that
the land contained in the area will be benefitted by the
formation of such district; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that such district shall be known
as Fire Protection District No.3 of Jefferson County, Wash-
ington, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the boundaries of such
district shall be as follows:
All of Township 25 North, Range 2 W~st, W. M., lying
in Jefferson County; Section 1 of Township 25 North,
Range 3 West, W. M.; Sections 19, 2g, 29, 30, 31, 32,
33, 34, 35, of TownShip 26 North, Range 2 West, W. M.,
Section 23, 24, 25 and 36 of Township 26 North, Range
3 West, W. M.;
and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that an election b~ held therein

according to law, for the purpose of determining whether or
not such district shall be organized under the provisions of
RCW Chapter 52.04 and for the purpose of electing three Fire
Commissioners; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that ~j ~
