RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LOCAL CIVIL DEFENSE
DIRECTOR TO ACCEPT SHELTER STOCK SUPPLIES
FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT, TO PROVIDE TEM-
PORARY WAREHOUSING THEREOF AND TO EXECUTE
FALLOUT SHELTER OR LICENSES ON BEHALF OF THE
COUNTY OR CITY
WHEREAS, the Federal, State and local governmental units have
been requested by the Congress of the United States to cooperate in
the National Shelter Program, and
WHEREAS, the Legislature of the State of Washington has direc-
ted the political subdivisions of this state to cooperate in the
Civil Defense Program, and
WHEREAS, the Federal government has agreed to provide certain
shelter supplies for stocking community shelters and to determine
by survey suitable shelters
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED
