StmadR.TalaSh.L3 this provides our opinion regarding the proposed stormwater disposal system for your Tala Shores Lot 19 residential site. We have reviewed the plans prepared by Maoleamsberry Engineering dated June 7. 2005 and It Is our opinion that the over-bank transport system with the stormwater diffuser pipe located near the ordinary high water mark (shoreline) will provide adequate protection for the bluff and ShoreHne against erosion. As with all stonnwater conveyance systems, continued monitoring and maintenance is required. Per the County's letter, Item No.3, the infiltration of water on-stte or in the west upland area Is not practical or advisable. The infiltration of stormwater on-site would Induce excess water into the groundwater system that flows towards the shoreline bluff area. This would decrease slope stability at the Bite and the adjacent areas. The infiltration of stonnwater in the upland area west of the site is not practical.
